因為騎士昨天想要換來魔術前鋒佛萊，代價是把詹姆斯的多年好友瓦雷賈換去拓荒者，瓦雷賈隨後也遭釋出，詹姆斯說：「那是NBA交易最糟的部分，我失去了1名兄弟、1名隊友，那種感覺真的很糟糕。」
